I'm the deputy director of Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon, where I lead the library’s public services division—which includes nineteen library locations, community services, and integrated services. Alberta is about 3 miles from the Oregon Convention Center. It's a 10-minute drive by car or a 20-minute ride on the #8 bus, plus a 5-minute walk.
