iPads in the Library: From Tech Programming to Staff Productivity
Virtual Conference Program
Thursday, March 15
3:45–4:45 PM Eastern
Don't know an iPad from a Nook, but think you'd like to? After an overview of the latest mobile devices and their capacity for Library work, this presentation will focus on the iPad and Appleās iOs operating system. Presenter will demonstrate how the iPad can supplement traditional, bricks-and-mortar library services (storytimes, outreach programs, mobile reference, e-books, etc.) and how Library staff can use iOs devices and applications to improve productivity (including scheduling, collaboration, and presentations).
Speaker:
Joel Nichols (Program Organizer), Librarian, Free Library of Philadelphia
