Don't Miss

Members of the Minneapolis Local Arrangements Committee were asked to identify their favorite places to go and things to do in the city. Here are their picks:

Como Park, Zoo and Conservatory

Both Stu Wilson, director of development and communications for the The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library, and Kim Edson, head of Readers Services at the Rochester Public Library, recommend the Como Park, Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul. Stu says, “It’s a great park with lake, lakeside pavilion and walking trails, with a small zoo, and an excellent conservatory with a new tropical exhibit. Kim adds that the park is free! Museum of Russian Art

Margaret Gillespie enjoys the Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis because it is presently the only non-profit museum in North America dedicated solely to the preservation and presentation of educational exhibitions and related events pertaining to Russian art and artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries. Visit the museum's Web site at http://www.tmora.org/.
